How to Update Job/Event in Calendar?

You can update details, date, time, and engineer assigned to a job/event from the calendar by following the steps below. 


Update Job


1.  Navigate to Calendar.  


The Calendar page is displayed.



2.  Click the required job. 


A dialog with job details is displayed. 



3.  Click View Job


The selected job details are displayed.

Note: You can change the date of the job by dragging and dropping it into a new date and confirming the change.


Note: You can change the engineer assigned to a job by dragging and dropping it onto a new engineer and confirming the change. This is only possible on the Day, Week Schedule, and Month Schedule views.


Note: You can edit the duration of a job by clicking and dragging from the edge of job to resize it.


Update Event


1.  Navigate to Calendar.  


The Calendar page is displayed.



2.  Click the required event. 


A dialog with event details is displayed. 



3.  Click Edit


The Edit Event dialog is displayed. 



4.  Click Save changes after making necessary changes to the required fields. 


The edited event is saved and displayed on the calendar. 



Note: You can change the date of the event by dragging and dropping it into a new date.


Note: You can change the duration of an event by dragging from the edge of an event to resize it.


Note: You can create a quote/job/invoice from the Event dialog.
